The room was larger and brighter after we moved.
Accessing our room required climbing steep, narrow stairs, quite challenging with heavy bags.

Cheerful and fairly clean hotel with really kind staff at reception desk and breakfast. Really tasty breakfast for all tastes with hard boiled eggs, sausages plus cheeses.

The best thing about this hotel is undoubtedly its location, it is next to the Danube River, in front of the Elisabeth Bridge. On the other hand the staff was also nice
age of the hotel building was not a problem for us at first, we thought it might even be charismatic. when you realize that the cleanliness of the hotel is conspicuous by its absence, you just want to leave. whole hotel is full of cobwebs that by their looks seemed to be in the same place for years. corners of the corridors had accumulated dirt in the corners, not to mention how grim the stairs and patio were to access the room... the worst came later, we realized that the room was full of spiders! In every corner of the ceiling, between the curtains, in the bathroom.. There were even chandeliers between the bedside tables and lamps. There was no cleaning..

I really enjoyed the cozy common lounge and the charming little terrace where I sipped my morning coffee. Relaxing in the hot tub was a highlight after a busy day exploring. The only downside was the somewhat outdated decor in the hallways, but it didn’t detract from my overall experience. 😊

What I liked best was the location of the hotel. And the room, surprised me for good, because the first impression when I entered the hotel was not very good, the reception is super old.
I didn't like the way the reception staff treated me, super unsympathetic people without a smile. The sign at the reception of "Attention:check in:15:00 and check out :11:00 looks very bad (I work in a hotel at the reception and it is not appropriate to put that in view) that info is already on the web and if not, it is explained to the client in person. When we arrived at the hotel, as the room was not ready (I expected it, it was early) we left the bags, but what a bad impression, the whole teception was surrounded by other clients' bags, also waiting for the rooms, their thing is to enable a room for the luggage, and although they had it, they told us that it was full already. Leaving the suitcase there in reception without any kind of identification does not seem to me a good idea, very unsafe. . The guy who was at the reception desk the day we arrived was super overwhelmed, he was alone for so many clients arriving. He explained to us that the hotel was understaffed. So I propose to hire more staff to give a better service.

Budapest vibes 🇭🇺✨
Location is ace, literally steps from the Danube, ditto the Elisabeth bridge-lekker for walks! Room was comfy with a nice view of the surroundings. The TV had a good mix of channels, and the staff were quite friendly, helpful when I needed a hand.

Rooms were clean with comfy beds, and the location was ideal for visiting the Danube and local attractions. Breakfast was simple but okay. We'd recommend checking out the nearby spas for a different experience.
The staff were not very helpful , a bit disappointing. We asked for assistance but didn't receive the support we needed, leading to some frustration.

Unable to just have a coffee in the morning without spending 7 Euros on a full breakfast.
